What customers say?

“ When staying at Hiroshima Prince Hotel, I was advised to make a dinner reservation, but since I didn't make one right away, my options were Chinese or a buffet. I don't like buffets, so I went for the Chinese. The Chinese food at Prince is delicious. I occasionally go to the Chinese restaurants at Park Tower and Takanawa Prince. When I arrived at my reservation time of 7pm, I was shown to the waiting room first. There were many chairs lined up facing the windows, and no drinks were served. I thought the restaurant might be busy, but when I was shown to my table, the restaurant was empty. I wondered why I had been made to wait. My table was right next to the window. However, it was pitch black outside and I couldn't see anything. The only thing I could see was the occasional flicker of a ship's light. This is probably a restaurant best visited during the day. The course began. A young female staff member was serving us. There were three groups of people serving in the restaurant. The Hiroshima cabbage was delicious, and when I said that it was delicious, she said she had never heard of it. I wonder if they come from other regions to work here. The Chinese food is not classic, but rather creative. Everything was delicious, except for the marinated mackerel. I love seafood, but I don't like fishy things. Personally, I think grilled mackerel is the best. A gratin inside a persimmon was served in the persimmon. The persimmon was edible, so they asked me to try it. The persimmon was hard enough to eat with chopsticks. I managed to break it up a bit, but it was delicious. I wanted to eat more, but I got tired and gave up. Wouldn't it be better to serve a knife and fork? Even if it looks beautiful, it's hard to eat. Also, the persimmon was so delicious that I asked where it was from. They asked the kitchen, but they said they didn't know. I can't help but think the chef doesn't know what he's working with. A new server was assigned mid-way through the meal. The young staff member must have finished work. The new server, perhaps a regular employee, was very attentive. However, like this person, I've been wondering about the way women use language lately. They end sentences with (nee). I often hear things like "I'll take off your clothes" or "Please wait" in the hospital setting. Adding "nee" makes it sound softer and gentler, but I wonder what it's like to use it with someone of higher rank? I can understand why people in the hospital use it, but this is the first time I've heard hotel staff use it. The Chinese food this time was pretty tasty, but I prefer regular Chinese food. (I don't mean local Chinese food.) ”

“ This was my first visit for lunch. I can't eat much, but I thought it would be nice once in a while, so I made a reservation for the buffet. However, as soon as I sat down, I was told that there was a 90-minute limit, which was a mistake on my part. I can only eat slowly on a normal day, so I felt very rushed when I left the restaurant. It was a shame that they only had a time limit, as I was able to enjoy delicious Chinese food at a hotel with a great view. Even if a hotel limits dining to 90 minutes, I would like to be able to relax for at least two hours. ”

“ I think it's the best among the Prince Hotels. I'm glad I was able to go there after a long time. ”

“ I had Shizuku for lunch. The dishes were brought out one after another, but if you drank them slowly, the portions were just right, the flavor was well-balanced, and the taste was excellent. I particularly liked the flavor of the broth in the soba noodles at the end. The view was great, the service was excellent, and it was the first time in a long time that I've been satisfied with a Prince Hotel stay. October 2023 I had the evening course meal. The food was seasonal. One dish that featured an entire persimmon was particularly memorable. However, when the food was served from the left, the plate was held with the right hand, which was a bit of a nuisance and uncomfortable. This may seem like a minor point, but it would be better if the plate was held with the left hand and served from the left side. ”

“ An open space with a great view. It's not too expensive for a Chinese restaurant in a hotel. I had the lunch course but was full. I think the menu changes with the season, but at the moment it was oysters. ”

“ We visited during the Obon period. The elegant food was served at a good pace and we were very satisfied. Our children were running around a bit, which caused some inconvenience, but they were very welcoming. As expected, the seafood from the Seto Inland Sea was delicious. Our children were also excited to see the ocean and boats from the window. ”

“ I used a private room on the day of the Ujina fireworks display, and the hospitality was wonderful and they were very considerate! The view of the fireworks and the atmosphere of the private room were great, so I'd definitely like to return next year. However, I think the food is probably better during normal times when there aren't any events! ”

“ I used it for the breakfast buffet during my stay here. It was open from 6:30am, and by around 7am the seats were pretty much filled with tour guests. The view was great, and the buffet had not only Chinese food, but also Japanese and Western dishes. ”
